The tools and resources need will need to be gathered together and selected in order to support the specific development needs called for by the career development assessments and plans. One simple way to approach this is to list each skill or capability that will be the focus of your improvement plan and then list the best resources for each.

The key to developing your own plan is self-honesty. The aptitude tests an skill assessments are important but at the end of the day what I call “self-coaching candor” is an absolute. It’s your plan and your career development and your future. The more accurate and candid the assessment the more powerful the professional plan.
