July 28, 2010:  One of the absolute core skills for success and advancement for managers is the Art & Science of managing employees and teams to successful execution of projects and assignments.  Most managers and supervisors have some  experience and have picked up ideas and techniques for delegation along the way.  Very few have really mastered this ability.  Most aren’t even aware of the need for more development.  Today’s companies aren’t focused on this area of manager training even though the ability to plan, delegate & manage assignments, create velocityof execution and increase productivity are critical to the company?  It is a total mystery and leaves a void in the development of managers and supervisors.
