Preparing Your Team for the Economic Upturns

Business and industry have been through really hard times the past few years.  Unemployment continues to be high and markets challenging.  Our hope is that things will start moving in the right direction and there are already encouraging signs.  How prepared is your management team?

There are two areas to look at in detail:

  1. What direction will your business likely head as the economy uncovers? Given the answer, how prepared are your people for this direction.  Is there training or skill development that should be taking place in anticipation?
  2. When you get the green light to hire people (hopefully soon), have you clearly defined what skills, abilities and experience you will need?
